Were you terrified? I drove a YJ once, a 4 banger one, and it was terrifying. The only time I’ve probably been more terrified was when I drove a CJ. Two of the funnest vehicles I’ve ever driven.

Edited to add that the CJ was a 70's model, don’t know that CJ# that makes it. I’ve also driven a 1950 Willis flat fender. Also terrifying, but mostly because only the rear brakes were working at the time.

Having never driven a TJ I couldn’t say for sure, but from my experience the XJ YJ still has a very old school feel to it, definitely more rugged and less refined than the TJ. Lorelai seems more like a person who likes the TJ for it’s cuteness and not it’s ruggedness, so I still think she’d prefer the TJ.

Mhh interesting. I always thought the Jeep was one of the last things in her life that was a protest against her parents and made her feel adventu rous . Everything else was pretty normal so she needed something to stick out that isn’t boring (like the sedans the parents drove).

So one could argue a YJ would make an even better job.
